Royalty free images and photos are available from many web sites.

Some of these provide the images for free while others charge a fee. As a rule of thumb, the sites where you pay a fee, often very small, generally control the quality of the images offered to ensure that you get a better quality image or photo whereas the free sites' images may not always be of a quality that you would want to use.
